Set up
Make sure that you are connected to your current office network or connected using a VPN.
Current Office network names:
- Seattle Office: Cochran Inc. SEA
- Portland Office: Cochran Inc. PDX
Note: The Guest Wi-Fi in both locations will not allow you access to the print servers.
Adding a printer to your device
Access your File Explorer
This can be done by:
- Pressing the Windows key* and searching 'File Explorer'
- Pressing the Windows key* + e
- Pressing the File Explorer icon on your taskbar (If you have unpinned File Explorer it will not show up.)
*The windows key is located between your left ctrl, and left alt
Accessing the server
Depending on where you are currently based, there are two printer servers.
If you are located in the Seattle office your printer's location will be: \\sea-print-01.office.cochraninc.com
If you are located in the Portland office your printer's location will be \\pdx-print-01.office.cochraninc.com
Either of those will go into this top search bar as highlighted in this image.

Double click on the printer you would like to add to your computer.
If a window appears that is similar to the window below. Do not worry, this window may be closed.
Ensuring the printer drivers installed
Enter the settings application.
- Press the windows key, and search for settings.
Enter the settings application, and select 'Bluetooth and devices'.
Select 'Printers and scanners'; you should see the printer that you have just installed.
